Snowdog:Fear of Emptiness

Louise Bradley is a professional visual artist based at 36 Lime Street studios in the Ouseburn in Newcastle upon Tyne, making vibrant drawings, paintings and prints.  She approaches print as a painter, using screenprinting to develop layered translucent images using colour and line as well as making monoprinted images using ink and paint on the screen.

Her colourful linear prints and paintings exploit drawing, which remains an underpinning medium for its directness, purity and simplicity. Artwork is a visual examination of the way we use and regard plants: notions of natural beauty, plant evolution and reproduction and definitions of poison.
