Snowdog:Psychedelic Snowdog

Rebecca Reed works from her Newcastle based Studio as an Artist and Designer. Her work takes a playful approach to painting and sculpture with an emphasis on colour and a fondness of kitsch. She is also a founding member of 'The Candy Vortex', an alternative Newcastle based night responsible for weird and wonderful events with D.I.Y decor and installation.

I got involved in the Snowdogs project after I received an email from Victoria Maddison, one of the curators involved in the campaign. She had seen some of my work at a recent exhibition and asked if I'd like to submit a design. I did a bit of research and really liked the sound of the project so decided to give it a go. I was over the moon to have my design sponsored and I'm really happy to be involved in such a worthwhile and exciting venture. Its a really unique way of raising awareness for charity and a great platform for artists to showcase their work!
