VOLUNTEERS WANTED!

Are you interested in volunteering with Great North Snowodgs? Yes? That's great, you are in the right place. We are looking for enthusiastic people who would like to share their time and skills with us.

If you are interested in one of these roles please call our Volunteer Office on 0191 246 9125, email volunteer@stoswaldsuk.org or fill in our contact form.

At the moment we can offer the following volunteering opportunities:

Ambassadors

We are looking for confident presenters to work externally within their own community to promote the work of St Oswald’s and its Fundraising opportunities. You will have the chance to meet interesting people and visit interesting places as well as support our Fundraising efforts.

Times needed: Times and days negotiable.

We are ideally looking for people from the North Tyneside and Gateshead areas but also welcome people from Newcastle, Northumberland, South Tyneside and North Durham

Friends Groups

St Oswald’s Friends are groups of like-minded people who raise awareness and funds for St Oswald’s in their local areas.

Typically, this can be organising a coffee morning and raffle in the local church, a cheese and wine evening, or having a stall at a fair selling donated goods or retail stock.  Friends Groups arrange bag-packs in their local supermarkets and try to encourage their local community to become supporters too.

Event volunteers

We will be hosting the Great North Snwodogs closing event in the late November, and we couldn't do it without the support of our fantastic event volunteers!

We need a pool of events volunteers who we can call on to help make our events successful, enjoyable and safe for all.

Find out more about events volunteering with our ‘Benefits of becoming a registered events volunteer’ leaflet.
