Psychedelic Dog is a striking Snowdog that made a big impression on his new owners from Woodhill Hall in Northumberland. The Hall is a wedding venue that Psychedelic Dog has settled very well into, his quirky design made him ‘pawfect’ for the stylish and unusual venue.

Rachel Fenwick, Marketing and Communications Manager at Woodhill Hall tells us more:

"Corinne, who owns Woodhill Hall is a huge dog lover. We are a dog friendly venue so we encourage guests to bring their dogs and we even offer a complimentary dog walking service during the wedding breakfast so we were keen to welcome a Snowdog into the Woodhill family."

When Rachel and Corinne attended the auction they had two dogs in mind but as soon as Psychedelic Dog came out on stage they knew he was the one for them.

Rachel explains:

“We are a very quirky venue and not your typical wedding setting so a design that was more wacky rather than timeless was a good fit for us. Psychedelic dog is just what we were hoping to buy and he certainly hasn’t disappointed. Psychedelic Dog now lives in Woodhill’s Love Garden, welcoming guests to the venue. In the short time he’s lived there he’s had a huge impact on visitors. People absolutely love our Snowdog, when couples arrive and realise we have one they are thrilled. We didn’t realise until we purchased him just how popular Great North Snowdogs was with the people of the North East. He’s a real talking point and now he’s in place people are starting to share their stories about St Oswald’s and the trail. They are telling us about the fantastic care loved ones have received from the Hospice and it’s bringing us closer to the couples. He’s been so much more than just a donation to charity, he’s a gift that keeps on giving! As many of our couples have been touched by St Oswald’s care they are thrilled to have Psychedelic Dog as part of their special day. He’s been in lots of wedding photographs and one photographer recently took a photo of him before he’d even photographed the couple!”
