The mechanical looking WOOF-3000 is the newest model on display at the Cramlington Ford car showroom. Malcolm and Suzanne Dunn thought he would be the pawfect addition to the dealership and were thrilled to support St Oswald’s by providing WOOF-3000 with a furever home.

Malcolm tells us more:

“My wife Suzanne did parts of the Great North Snowdogs trail and really enjoyed it. On the day of the auction she told me we were going so WOOF-3000 was a very spontaneous purchase for us. We both know of St Oswald’s and the fantastic care they provide so we really wanted to support the cause rather than own a specific dog. It just so happened that WOOF-3000 was a great fit for us. We bid on quite a few dogs on the night, I was trying to keep Suzanne’s hands in her pockets by the end as we could have ended up with a whole pack!”

WOOF-3000 is now living in the Cramlington Ford showroom, welcoming everyone as they walk in. He started out in Malcolm and Suzanne’s kitchen but has been very busy since moving homes.

Malcolm explains:

“WOOF-3000 offers a very warm welcome to everyone walking through our doors. From a business perspective he’s been great at showing everyone that we are very family orientated. People can feel uncomfortable walking into a car showroom and having something they may recognise welcoming them takes the edge off. He’s fitted in really well and we try to get him out and about as much as possible. We’ve had a charity car wash and we hope to take him along to community events over the summer. Taking WOOF-3000 out and about enables us to share the St Oswald’s message and let everyone know where he came from. We’ve had mixed reactions but on a whole they’ve been very positive.”
