Community- Near and Far

The design is an amalgamation of three designs created by three Year 8 pupils. The focus of the designs is community and how the school community links into the global community. One aspect of the design focuses on the school community with the other side showing the struggle of young people elsewhere in the world. The image of the Tyne Bridge across the back of the dog shows the link and interaction between the two. The ears of the dogs incoporate the logos of the school and Deloitte to show how the school works in partnership with local employers. The rainbow on the patch of the dog represents the school's Rainbow Club which supports young people dealing with bereavement and loss.
