We chose butterflies for our Little Snowdog design as Together for Short Lives, a charity representing children’s hospices across the county, has a butterfly as part of their logo. Many of the children and young adults that stay with us have life-shortening conditions and the butterfly signifies beautiful lives.

Our children and young adults who were staying with us, as well as our nurses, care staff and doctors from the Children and Young Adults unit, each contributed to the Snowdog by using their fingers to paint, meaning everyone could get involved.
