A Changing River

Pupils from The Drive Primary School based their Snowdog design on images of the local area. Following a project with Northern Stage in which they wrote a play about the local area, they visited the Quayside and sketched different landmarks, such as the River Tyne, BALTIC, Sage, Tyne Bridge, and Millenium Bridge. We discussed the theme of change- both the changing colours of the river as it reflects the changing sky above, as well as the river's surroundings changing throughout history. This inspired the name for our Snowdog, 'A Changing River'.

Nexus have sponsored this Snowdog.
