Finding your way around the trail

Although the Big Great North Snowdogs have now found their forever homes, the 97 Little Snowdogs are still on the trail until 20th January at visitor centres, libraries and public spaces across the region. These pawsome pooches and were designed and painted by local schools and community groups.

Our Little Great North Snowdogs covers a large area across Tyne and Wear but the trail has been designed to be accessible using the region’s extensive public transport network. Whether you travel by bus, Metro, train, ferry, bike or on foot,  the little trail is designed to be easily accessible by public transport. With 60 stations across Tyne and Wear, Metro is a great way to see the Snowdogs. Don’t forget kids under five travel free on Metro and there are discounts for children, 16-18 year olds, students and concessions.
